Abama Golf **** 8.3

The Abama Golf Course is located next to the Ritz-Carlton hotel and offer amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean while playing. The 18 holes champignonchip course contains a big variety of subtropical plants and 20.000 palm trees. With 22 lakes you better have a few spare balls (like I needed).

The course is not easy but when you played it a few times like we did, your scores will improve. That said, some people (as you can see on the engraving of the tree) think the course is not that easy. Shame on the Dutch :). The 10th and 11th are challenging great holes where your guts can make the difference if you hit it well.

We played 18 holes and had drinks and a bite afterwards on the terras clubhouse but we also played and had a break for lunch after the 9th. Try out both , you won't be disappointed.

You can rent clubs online but the golf club also offers good rentals (Taylormade). In 2005 the Abama hosted the Spanish Open of the European Tour.
