Restaurant

One of the hotel's main highlights is its gourmet restaurant, led by chef Simon Taxacher. Taxacher is one of Austria's most decorated chefs, known for his innovative approach to cooking and his use of high-quality, regional ingredients. We had dinner a few times and were a bit disaapointed about the limited choices we had.

Room

Hotel Rosengarten offers stylish and comfortable rooms and suites, designed with a contemporary flair. The accommodations typically feature modern amenities, sophisticated decor, and attention to detail, ensuring a relaxed stay. Many rooms may offer stunning views of the surrounding alpine landscape.

The hotel provides nice wellness facilities. These include a sauna, steam bath, relaxation areas, and a range of spa treatments.

Location

Kirchberg in Tirol is a charming alpine village, offering a range of outdoor activities throughout the year. In the winter, the area is popular for skiing and snowboarding, while the summer months are ideal for hiking, biking, and exploring the natural beauty of the region.

If the menu would be more extensive (especially if you don't like fish), the rating would have gone up to an 8.8-9.0 range.

Update: in the meantime, I saw the hotel gets a huge overhaul. It expets to open again end 2024. The luxury looks to go up! The new name will be Alpenparks & Apartment Taxacher.
