Brandend Zand ***

Brandend Zand is a nice local restaurant in the edge of the Zandmeren. The Zandmeren is recreation area alongside the river Meuse with various harbours, holiday homes, playing grounds for the kids and the Dukdalf, an upscale restaurant and beach club.

Brandend Zand offers a traditional kitchen with typical Dutch and international dishes. The restaurant offer a variety from BBQ style to the Brandend Zand special, the schnitzel with capuchins, bacons, unions and piccalilly. Their Wagyu steak with a variety of sauces was tasted many times by me. It can't go wrong.

The special BBQ is a center piece in the restaurant. From the first sunny days to late spring, you van have lunch of diner on the veranda style covered terras. Stop here during your bike trip. The Zandmeren, (who also own Brandend Zand and different from the Zandmeren area) also offer a Land Rover experience.
