Brasserie Bijgaarden offers a dining experience that combines Belgian culinary traditions with a modern touch. The brasserie is known for its excellent Belgian cuisine with diners of good quality of the food and generous portions. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide, indicating its recognition for quality dining.

The brasserie's menu reflects a blend of local Belgian flavors with a contemporary approach. It is great to see they have pata negra on the menu as starter, one of my favorite hams.

Last time I was there, I had the foie gras with a blueberry jam as a starter, very nice. As for the main dish, I did have the Flemish stew in the past and the grilled Australian Ribeye (grain fed) the last time I visited the restaurant.

The meals were accompanied by a nice bottle of wine (they do have quite a good wine list to choose from).
