Chalet Hôtel Hermitage *****

With 28 luxury rooms and suites, all beautifully decorated with solid wood, stone and woollen materials, the Chalet Hôtel Hermitage offers four-star accommodation against the stunning backdrop of Mont Blanc! No you can’t get an evening meal at the Hermitage Paccard but for the rest, it was a great choice! Although the hotel is a 4-star, I gave it 5 stars because I think it is outstanding.

What is unique about Chamonix is that you cannot go into town by car. You have to park at the edge of the town and electric taxis will bring you to your destination.

We paid (July 2018) via Booking.com €196,- for 2 persons for a room, including breakfast.
