The restaurant is located on a dyke at the banks of the river Meuse (or “Maas”). In the summertime, the terras offers a great view at the river and from mid 2016, there will be a brand new area where you can dock your boat if you travel over the water.

The Blauwe Sluis is located at the edge of the City of ‘s-Hertogenbosch and has a unique location, multiple terras locations to lounge, drink or eat and a great indoor experience.

We've eaten many times at the Blauwe Sluis. With my wife Eline, with friends and for business. The offer a nice variety of food with local ingredients. The kitchen brigade, managed by the owner Rens Kemp creates the finest local dishes from eel with parma ham, a great rib roast or the best tournedos in town, all prepared with local ingredients. The hemelse modder (mud from heaven) is their signature desert. Try it out when you are in the neighbourhood.
