Electra Hotel ****

Dating back to 1965, this is one of the better places for your trip to Athens. The Electra Hotel is located in one of the most central locations in Athens located on the famous Ermou Street, Located next to Syntagma Square with the metro station and only a five-minute walk from the way to the Acropolis.

The Electra was recently renovated, and the rooms offer everything you need from the satellite TV, minibar and work desk. The marble bathroom includes bathrobes and slippers

Rooftop bar

The rooftop bar-restaurant provides stunning views of the Parliament, Syntagma Square and Acropolis. Especially by night with the illuminated Acropolis high on the mountain, it is a view you won’t forget. Even if you don't stay in the hotel, the bar is accessible for tourists to have a drink, lunch or dinner. The Greek Breakfast is served in a buffet-style at the rooftop restaurant as well.

Restaurant

The restaurant offers a Mediterranean food selection and good accompanying wines in an intimate environment.

I was there to speak at the 9th Ship IT Conference and enjoyed the city, the atmosphere and the stunning views bringing you back a few thousand years.
