The Hotel Suisse Majestic is a very nice hotel located in the picturesque town of Montreux, Switzerland. Situated on the shores of Lake Geneva, this historic hotel offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding Alps.
Hotel Suisse Majestic enjoys a prime location in Montreux, nestled along the promenade of Lake Geneva. As such, we were within easy walking distance of Montreux main attractions, including the famous Chillon Castle and Montreux Casino venues.
The hotel boasts an elegant and timeless architectural style that reflects the Belle Époque era, with grand facades, ornate detailing, and classic Swiss charm. Inside, you'll find beautiful interiors adorned with luxurious furnishings, crystal chandeliers, and artwork that pays homage to the hotel's rich history.
Room
The hotel offers a range of luxurious rooms and suites, designed to provide the utmost comfort and style. We got a free upgrade to a larger corner room on the 4th floor. The room had a spacious layout, plush bedding, and modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, minibar, coffee maker and high-speed internet access. Because of the corner room, we had a larger balcony with breathtaking views of the lake or the surrounding mountains. The undergoing sun was just amazing.
Restaurant
We had dinner at restaurant 45 located on the 3rd floor with views over Lake Geneva. You can find more information about the restaurant in a separate blog page.
Hotel Suisse Majestic also offers a range of wellness facilities to help relax (we did not use this).
What was also nice was the Montreux Riviera Card provided by the hotel. This card gives you free public transport in Montreux and 50% discount to museums and other site seeing activities.
A stay at Hotel Suisse Majestic is a luxurious experience, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and elegance of Montreux while enjoying the amenities and good service. The location, across the road from the railway station is perfect.
