If you ever take a tour along the banks of the Linge river, stop at the Restaurant Herberg de Lingehoeve . The Lingehoeve is located only two miles from the famous National Glass Museum in Leerdam.

A unique place located on the north side of the river in an old farmhouse in the little village of Oosterwijk, between Leerdam and Gorinchem. Stop for a nice lunch or dinner in the evening. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside (the total terrace has close to a hundred seats). Part of the terrace is covered so even with a little rain, enjoy the country lifestyle.

In the winter the fireplace provides that extra atmosphere while you have your high tea or enjoy one of the other local specialties like the warm apple pie. The combination of the old elements and stylish interior provide that characteristic farmhouse feeling. Almost all the food is made by the owners themselves and served on antique English and French plates.

The shared ding concept is worth a try. A unique concept where various starters and main dishes are served to the table and the guest can pick what they like. the Lingehoeve is also a nice place to party (up to 200 persons) and if you like, you can stay in one of the unique 7 hotel rooms of the farm.
