Hotel Cafe Germania ****

If you want to stay in near the Moezel river in Germany, Cochem is one of the places to see or stay. It is the most "lively" city/village at the river Moezel.

There is a enormous selection of hotels alongside the river. The hotel we stayed, the Germania in Cochem however is, in my opinion to expensive for what the hotel offers. I do not think the hotel was worth the €144 per night we had to pay.

When I checked out the hotel lately, I was pleasantly surprised it was modernized. The rooms look a lot better now. If you book this hotel, spend a few euros more and secure a room with river view and balcony. It is worth it!
