Hotel d’Angleterre ***

The Hotel d’Angleterre is located in Chalons-en-Champagne, in the hart of the Champagne district. streek. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the center, opposite the Notre-Dame de Vaux and the city hall.

The rooms of the hotel have a good price performance with all the comfort you want for a 1-day stay. Nothing special just good. the hotel offers 2 restaurants but we didn't had dinner there. As you might have seen in other blogs, I am a fan of a “bavette” (flank steak) but the one at the hotel was presented for 45 euros, a very, very high price so we did not decide to eat at the hotel and instead went into the city.

There is a choice of nice restaurants and on your way back to the hotel after dinner, watch the light show, projected on the cathedral.

Epernay is at 35 minutes drive and Reims at just 45 kilometer.
