Hotel Du Vin Tunbridge Wells ****

It was something of a surprise when Tunbridge Wells, the building’s handsome façade, covered in creeping plants appeared. Hotel du Vin & Bistro in Tunbridge Wells is an elegant hotel located in the beautiful Kent countryside, within the historic spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Like any other Hotel du Vin I stayed at, it is charming.

Room

The room had garden views and feature all the hallmarks of the boutique brand, from freestanding roll-top bathtub and a good sized bed. The large bathroom has some original features.

Restaurant

The Bistro, was good as well. We had the pleasure that the weather was nice and we could dine outside. Breakfast was a selection of traditional English, cereals, fruit and pastries.

The property includes amenities such as free parking, free high-speed internet, a pool, sauna, free breakfast, hiking opportunities, billiards, pet-friendly accommodations, a hot tub, an adult pool, an indoor pool, a heated pool, a bar/lounge, a coffee shop, a restaurant, breakfast available in the room, a spa, massage services

We ended up paying 200 pounds for the night including breakfast. All together a good price performance and when in the area, we will likely visit again.
