Hotel Métropole is a historic and iconic hotel known for its grandeur. This Art Deco hotel dating from 1895. It is a landmark in Brussels, showcasing magnificent Belle Époque style. The hotel's history and heritage are integral parts of its charm and allure. The hotel is renowned for its opulent interior, which includes lavish decorations, antique furnishings, and ornate details. The lobby, public areas, and rooms often feature intricate marble flooring, grand chandeliers, and historic artwork, creating an atmosphere of old-world luxury. The Métropole is located at a 10-minute walk from Grand-Place and Brussels Central Station.

The marble staircases in the lobby lead up to the classic styled rooms. The room itself is comfortable and offers what you need like a good bed and shower.

The breakfast room has the same layout and design as the Akshardham Temple in Delhi, India. There is also Cafe Metropole where you can enjoy a brasserie-style cuisine in Brussels characteristic tradition.

There is a public parking within walking distance and a valet service is available for a fee.

Although I only stayed for one night back in 2017, I was happy suprised by the interior and nice bar. When you look for an authentic place in Brussels to stay, it is worth considering this hotel. The rating I gave is mainly driven by the hotel design and location.
