Hotel restaurant Le Manoir is a small authentic place alongside one of the main routes from the north to southern France, alongside the Route de Soleil. You have to leave the motorway but it is worth it. The hotel is located on the N7, a short drive north of Orange.

The hotel is located at the foot of the cliff of Mornas and its medieval fortress. At night, you can admire the illuminated medieval fortress.

The hotel itself is an 18th century manor house with a nice garden with centenarian trees, patio and shady terrace, a lovely property that embodies the charm of Provence and the perfect location for a friendly and relaxing break. The kitchen serves a typically fragrant and savoury local cuisine combined with some of our finest, locally produced wines of the famous Côtes du Rhône that will certainly excite your senses.

Although a bot old style, we did like the hotel and restaurant. Dinner outside on the terras in the sun, it can't be much better on your way to Southern France. With rooms round €100 and a nice terras, serving good food, I think it is worth a 4-star.
