Hotel Terre de Loire ***

Terre de Loire is located in Belleville-sur-Loire, not far from the cities of Bourges, Auxerre and Paris. The town lies 58 kilometres to the south of Montargis and 23 kilometres from Sancerre. Further north you can enjoy discovering the town of Nevers and its rich heritage with landmarks like the duke’s palace, the old quarter of Pâtis and the church of Saint-Joseph des Montôts.

The hotel offer a good price performance in a very nice setting. For less than hundred euro’s we have a very nice room located on the ground floor with a fantastic shower and bath.

After a day trip trough the Loire valley, Terre de Loire is a nice place to arrive at and relax with a good glass of Sancerre. The hotel, nicely situated at the banks of a canal offers a nice outdoor with lounge sets and relax chairs.

The dinner was an interesting, mixed experience. Starters and desert were very nice. The music detail on the foie-gras starter was a blast!

The main dish however was one of a mixed feeling. My dish was good and the beef was excellent. The meat of my partner was full of strings and far below quality. That said, the hotel is worthwhile staying when in the region.
