Font Vineuse *

The Font Vineuse Hôtel & Spa is advertised very well. A room with private spa, wellness center, and heated indoor swimming pool. Formerly a former naturally carbonated water bottling factory, our magnificent building was recently renovated in a modern style while retaining its old industrial charm.

So far so good. When we arrived, it too ages before we were welcomed and got something to drink. The bad weather probably did not help either. What we found instead of the "luxury" hotel as advertised was a hotel that has been due for a big overhaul for years. The maintenance of the hotel itself was very bad with many ugly places. The bathroom was old rusty. The jacuzzi looked you needed to consider twice before entering.

The restaurant experience was in line with the other findings. Not good and they did not care at all for any allergies.

We stayed there on July 26, 2018 and for sure, will never return!
