La Quinta Golf **** 7.8

The La Quinta Golf course is part of the Westin Hotel & Resort. From the A7, coming from the north, you leave the road after the H10 hotel/casino. From there, you are at the course in approx. 10 minutes.

We did not stay in the hotel, The hotel facilities, terras, bar and restaurant are also used by the golfers. When we were there last time, the introduction event for two new BMW M-series took place.

La Quinta Golf Resort is a superb parkland golf course, a wonderful design from the time when golf courses were not bombed into submission but were gently unpicked with deft shot making, patience and guile. The par 4s and par 5s are not long holes but are so cleverly thought out so as to provide a fair challenge to golfers of a wide range of abilities. Whether you are a long handicapper who gently coaxes the ball around or a young and wild player whose drives seek out the horizon you find great satisfaction in crafting a good score at La Quinta. This time we played the Ronda Course.

La Quinta is not cheap but worth while your money. A beautiful course with many nice views. A very well manicured golf course with some interesting challenges.
