The Hotel Barrière Le Majestic is on of the more prestigious and iconic luxury hotels in Cannes. I stayed there once during a Microsoft conference. The hotel is a symbol of elegance, standing prominently on the famous La Croisette Boulevard, facing the Mediterranean Sea and offering stunning views of the Cannes coastline.

Architecturally, Le Majestic is classic French Riviera style, combining art deco elegance with contemporary luxury. The hotel's exterior is adorned with balconies and terraces, allowing you to enjoy the breathtaking sea views and the vibrant atmosphere of Cannes.

The interiors is a testament to refined luxury. The room offered comfort, luxury and panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. I do remember I had a beautifull sea view room but was glad someone (Microsoft) else paid for it.

The hotel has 3 restaurants: The traditional French brasserie, Fouquet's, serves a menu created in collaboration with the three-star chef Pierre Gagnaire. Paradiso Nicole & Pierre serves Italian cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. The BFire by Mauro Colagreco restaurant is located on the private beach.

Given its prime location, the hotel is a hotspot during the Cannes Film Festival and a favorite among celebrities and discerning travelers. It's not just a place to stay but a destination to experience the glamour and allure of the French Riviera. This is exposed by the cars parked on a prime, private spot in front of the hotel.

Now one should also realize the Le Majestic sets you down any where between €500-€1.000 for a room per night let alone if you talk about a suite going toward €2-5.000 per night.

As a private traveller I would not stay there. One of the palces (relative) close to the Cannes waterfront is the La Lune de Mougins hotel. We stayed there a times and found it relaxed and at a very good price performance bing so close to the Cannes beach. If you look for a private beach area, Le MAjestic offers this, but you can also book a spot at La Momo, a private beach club opposite the hotel. We really liked it however if you like "see" and "be seen", the Majestic might be your place!
