Les Sources Hotel **

Symbol of a tourist tradition of more than 150 years, the Hotel Cerise Luxeuil Les Sources combines the charm, the character of the past and the warm atmosphere of the residences of yesteryear with the modernity and comfort of today. At least this is what they advertise....

We stayed in Les Sources for one night on our way back from a holiday in Southern France. The hotel is located between Besançon and Epinal. The hotel is ok but nothing more than that. We booked it via booking.com and in my opinion the rating is way to optimistic. In the evening the hotel is dead. There is no real bar and also the village itself does not offer much. The hotel changed management some years ago and I hope it is a bit better now.

That said the room was clean and spacious. For the price we paid – 85 euros – the price performance was ok. So all in all ok for a night but that’s it.
