Lewtrenchard Manor is one of the most popular and most prestigious family run hotels in Devon. It is one of those places you will remember because everything worked out in a great way.

The hotel was in a beautiful location, the service top, the rooms great and the diner perfect. We were lucky because the restaurant was fun and we were offered private dining in the library! And let’s be honest, where do you see that the lady who cleans your room is moving cabinets and wears white cotton gloves?

Nestled in a secluded valley beneath Dartmoor’s wild tors, and virtually untouched by time, the manor is located in a magnificent setting. Steeped in history, this Jacobean manor dates back to the early 1600s, and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break, away from the modern world, in beautiful surroundings.

Have a drink before dinner in the lounge near the fireplace. We had a lovely dinner in a private room because the main restaurant was occupied due to a function. It worked out great!
