Set among steep mountains, the impeccable fairways of Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club merge with the spectacular surrounding scenery, affording the golfers exceptional views over the Mediterranean. Opened in 1991, Los Arqueros is a challenging par-71, 18-hole course designed by the Spanish Severiano Ballesteros. Considered one of the best players in the world, Seve has used his know-how and prestige to create some 30 golf courses all over the world.

The course is one of the better ones in the Marbella area. Hole 2 is a spectacular par 3 thanks to its links-style bunkers and what to think of holes 6 and 8 both beautiful par 5s. Two other holes I really like are hole 10 and hole 12.

A few years ago, just before 2020, the clubhouse got a major overhaul and is now up to the latest standards. Sometimes Los Acquires is to crowded, just that you know.
