Maredo Steakhouse ***

Enjoy juicy steaks from Argentina and Uruguay in a relaxed atmosphere, freshly cut and perfectly grilled to perfection. That was advertised on the website. Well when we were in Salzburg for a long weekend, we had dinner at Maredo twice so from that point I can only confirm that the steak were indeed juicy and nicely flavoured.

The the steak we had, the rib-eye and flank steak were from a good quality with a good price/quality performance. No, it for sure is not Ruth Chris but the price is half.

The location on the Judengasse 5 is perfect. Just 200 meters from our hotel we stayed, the Radisson Blu Altstadt.

I would have given one more star if it wasn’t for the atmosphere in the restaurant itself. In my opinion the interior felt a bit dated and it would not be the place for an anniversary dinner.
