Moonah Links *****

The Moonah Links is a very, very nice links course. It is located at the Peninsula (a 2 hour drive from downtown Melbourne). The club has two 18-holes courses: the Open and the Legend.

We played the Legend and if I would have had the time, I would have loved to play the other course as well. I was invited by someone who did beat me every time I played in the Melbourne area (thanks Steve!).

If you are an overseas player, you van book a tee time without any problem. The 15th hole screams for an iron. It is tempting to use your driver but the fairway is very small and there are many bunkers on the left and the right to make you change your mind.

Some holes like the 18th have more fairway bunkers than other courses have in total (don’t forget your S…….!). The clubhouse has a unique modern design and offers great views across the course. The service in clubhouse is very good. The beer was and the food was great!
