It has been a while since I stayed in the Oatlands Park Hotel. The place in Weybridge, a beautifull upscale village on the river Thames, is a historic and hotel.

Oatlands Park Hotel is historic. The original building on the site was a Tudor palace built by Henry VIII in 1537. Over the centuries, it has been rebuilt and refurbished, with the current hotel structure dating back to the 18th century. From what I could see is that, since I stayed there, the hotel had a long needed renovation.

It has been too long to write up a good review. That said, looking how it looks after the latest renovation and given the charm of the building, I think it is worth while to stay there.
