The various parts of the main building are connected with a variety of stars bringing you to the different areas like one of the restaurants or terasses. .

The room

We had a spacious room on the 4th floor overlooking the sea and hotel gardens. It was always a pleasure to wake up with a coffee on the balcony.

Restaurants

The resort offers a collection of restaurants ranging from light, simple cooking to world-class gourmet cuisine. At the top end of the scale, Michelin-starred restaurants - M.B awarded with two stars (we did not had dinner there) and Kabuki with one star. Furthermore the is the Verde Mar restaurant, restaurant with a vegetable-forward approach and a home-style cooking with locally-sourced meats and fish dishes. El Mirador let you experience local foo on the beach and last but not least there is Verona, the Italian style restaurant.

We had dinner at the restaurants multiple times and went into some beach towns a good 10 miles from the hotel location. The one-star Michelin restaurant Kabuki delivered up to it promise with some very nice dishes. The contemporary dining at Txoko was another one where we enjoyed the food and service. I can recommend both.

The hotel grounds features 7 swimming pools, a large Spa & Fitness Center and the guests can enjoy an 18-hole championship golf course. We played 4 times on the Abama golf course. More about this in a seperate blog.
