Rowhill Grange Hotel & Spa is a luxurious and tranquil retreat located in the picturesque countryside, often not far from major urban centers. This hotel and spa is celebrated for its exclusive and serene environment, providing guests with a perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and indulgence.

History

Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa was the very first chapter of the Alexander Hotels story. Starting its life with us as our first Utopia Spa with just a few bedrooms above, Rowhill Grange's history dates back to 1868. In 1916 when Sir George Cole (Lord Mayor of London) bought the property. Rowhill Grange began its journey to becoming a hotel in 1977 when Michael Feasey, a local butcher, transformed the family home into a country house hotel and restaurant which then opened in 1987.

Room

The guest room had stylish furnishings, a comfortable king size bed, and offered a scenic views of the surrounding garden.

Although we did not use the spa, the spa at Rowhill Grange seems to be a key highlight. It offers , offering a therapy pools, steam rooms, saunas, and a variety of treatment rooms.

Restaurant

It was a nice summer evening when we arrived at Rowhill Grange and were just in time, after we crossed the channel, to order dinner outside on the terras.

Rowhill Grange did set us down €244 for one night back in July 2018. Not that low cost but the location and service were very good. That said, Turnbridge Wells, a Hotel du Vin, where we stayed the day after was €277 for the night.
