The Royal Antwerp is home to Belgium’s oldest golf club, dating back to 1888. Its current location in the Kapellenbos north of Antwerp, was established in 1912, and has since developed into one of the finest wooded heathland courses in north west Europe.

The Royal Antwerp is a nice course and one of the better ones in the Antwerp province. That said, It is also a course you would play once and if you have the choice, you would play another course next time. I think the price is to high for the fun you experience. It is also an “old fashion style course”. With that I mean very traditional with “the members” being king and if you are a “green-fee-er” you will be looked at as such. Also, not speaking French doesn’t help either and therefor only 2 stars.

In any case it is an interesting course but one like many others. I personally think other course in a range of 30-50KM are nicer like the Eindhovense, the Kempense and others. In the end…. your choice.
