The Runnymede-on-the-Thames ****

The 4 star Runnymede is a very nice hotel very close to Heathrow airport. Get in the cab just for a few miles when you need to spend the night in the airport area and stay at the Runnymede instead of one of the hotel closer to the airport. It’s worth it. It is also close to attractions like Thorpe Park, Windsor and many other interesting places.

The Runnymede is located in Egham and direct at the banks of the Thames river. They offer a great outside terras, directly on the water side, making your stay relaxed. The hotel also offers a great wellness where you find all you need and an outside swimming pool.

The rooms are spacious and equipped with all you need. Room rates are not cheap (you also pay for the location and facilities) and range from 150 – 250 pounds. Check out booking.com and you might get a great deal.

In the summer, even when you don't stay in the hotel, the place a nice to have an afternoon drink at the banks of the river.
