The wines

We like our wines. Over the years, we stayed at many hotels, went to bars, had dinner in restaurants or just relaxed on a terrace or on the beach. Many times a nice bottle of wine became part of the experience. Below you will see a selection of the wines we tasted on our trips.

Bottle size

Now when you see a bottle that is a bit bigger than a typical 700 cl. one, you might know and/or have seen a "magnum". This is a 1.5 ltr. bottle. But what is the size is bigger? They all have names. Here are they:

• Jeroboam, 3 ltr.

• Rehoboam, 5 ltr.

• Methusalem, 6 ltr,

• Salmanazar, 9 ltr,

• Nebukadnezar, 15 ltr.

• Solomon (Melchior), 18 ltr

• Souverain, 26 ltr.

• Melchizedek (Midas), 30 ltr.
